Vigil and march on the occasion of 2000 US dead in Iraq
Join Mountain View Voices for Peace, other local peace groups, and
Americans throughout the country in remembering all the dead (Iraqis,
Americans, and others) and calling for an end to the Iraq War and
Occupation NOW!

PALO ALTO - 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm Wednesday - vigil at El Camino Real and Embarcadero
*** MARCH ALONG EL CAMINO REAL ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29 ***
We will hold our MARCH TO REMEMBER THE DEAD on SATURDAY,
October 29 1:00 PM. We will march down El Camino Real. We will begin at
1:00 pm at the Sunnyvale City Hall on Olive near Pastoria, and we'll
march along El Camino to Castro Street, ending up at the Mountain View
City Hall at Mercy and Castro. The route is 3 miles. We'll be organizing
car pools to ferry participants back to the start.
At the events we will display our "Iraq War Memorial Wall," which
displays the names of the official war dead.
