Over 1000 US soldiers dead in Iraq! Join our memorial procession 9/10!

To mark the tragic "1000 Dead" milestone, remember all who have died in this unnecesary war, and prevent countless more casualties, Mountain View Voices for Peace will conduct a solemn memorial procession this Friday, September 10, at 5:45 pm. We will begin and end at the site of our regular Friday vigils, the northwestern corner of Castro Street and El Camino Real.

If you can, wear black. We suggest bringing the following:

• Signs with the number "1000"
• The photo of George W. Bush composed of smaller photos of Americans who have died in Iraq. Download here, enlarge, and print.
• American flags. A member has already purchased black fabric to drape on the flags.
