Alternatives to Unilateralism

Public Meeting in Mountain View
On Thursday, August 14, at 7:30 PM, Don Kraus, Executive Director of the Washington, D.C. based Campaign for United Nations Reform (CUNR) , will be the guest speaker of Mountain View Voices for Peace (MVVP), the World Federalist Association of Northern California (WFANCa) and other Santa Clara County groups. The event will be held in the general meeting hall of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mountain View, 582 Hope (at the intersection of Church and Hope Streets, one block east of Castro St.).

Kraus, the leader of the CUNR non-governmental organization (NGO), is a specialist on U.N.-U.S. relations and is an advocate of effective, democratic world law. His presentation will address the current controversy about the growing trend of America's international unilateralism policy and empire building, U.N.- U.S. relations and possible negative and/or positive scenarios for Planet Earth's future.

A Q. and A. discussion session with Don Krause will follow his speech.

There will be free admission, ample parking spaces, snacks and beverages.
