THINKING THE SEMI-THINKABLE

So Condi Rice is saying that the United States has no plans to attack Iran, which of course makes everyone nervous, because the last time this administration said it had no plans to attack anyone, it did have plans and the will to carry them out. Then we went through that whole awful charade at the United Nations, and then hello quagmire.
Thinking the semi-thinkable: What might happen if we bomb Iran, which we probably will because that's how we do things. Sure would cut off debate about Medicare (or Social Security).
