Act now to stop the upcoming $169 Billion war funding

The No. 1 reason for Congress not to pass any more war funding, and for the U.S. to withdraw from Iraq...

...Because studies consistently show the people of Iraq feel justified in attacking Americans in Iraq.

nation of torturers

A few reasons why Iraqis may be justified in feeling this way towards the occupiers include:

• The U.S. invaded Iraq based on lies and the Iraqis know it.
• Allowing the looting of the Iraqi National Museum during the initial invasion, while the Oil Ministry was heavily protected.
• The Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse system.
• American soldiers Raping a 14-year old girl and massacreing her family.
• Atrocities by American private contractors, including U.S. giving immunity to Blackwater guards who killed 17 Iraqi civilians.
• Obscene treatment of the Iraqi population by American soldiers.
• Indiscrimantly dropping 20 tons of bombs on urban regions.
• Imprisoning over 50,000 Iraqis without charge, including thousands of juveniles and innocent family members as collateral.

...And countless other injustices that leave the Iraqis feeling justified in killing Americans in Iraq, assuring that there will be no honorable end to this U.S. misadventure.

shame of empire

But the U.S. military didn't sign-up to be assigned such a bogus mission.
Unfortunately, neither the White House nor Congress nor either political party shows any intention of ending the war in Iraq.
It's up to you to reject this mission in Iraq for them. The U.S. military, the American public, and the Iraqi population are all victims of this illegal war for empire.

Tell all Congress members to vote NO on the "emergency" supplemental bill, but especially:

Senator Barbara Boxer (202) 224-3553
and Senator Diane Feinstein (202) 224-3841
and Rep. Anna Eshoo: (202) 225-8104
