| A few reasons why Iraqis may feel this way include: The U.S. invaded Iraq based on lies and the Iraqis know it. Allowing the looting of the Iraqi National Museum during the initial invasion, while the Oil Ministry was heavily protected. The Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse system. American soldiers Raping a 14-year old girl and massacreing her family. Atrocities by American soldiers and private contractors then given immunity, including the Haditha massacre and the Blackwater massacre which killed 17 Iraqi civilians. Obscene treatment of the Iraqi population by American soldiers. Indiscrimantly dropping 20 tons of bombs on urban regions. Imprisoning over 50,000 Iraqis without charge, including thousands of juveniles and innocent family members as collateral. ...And countless other injustices that leave the Iraqis feeling justified in killing Americans in Iraq, assuring that there will be no honorable end for the U.S. in Iraq. |
But the U.S. military didn't sign-up to be assigned such a bogus mission.
Unfortunately, neither the White House nor Congress nor either political party shows any intention of ending the war in Iraq.
It's up to you to reject this mission in Iraq for them. The U.S. military, the American public, and the Iraqi population are all victims of this illegal
war for empire.
